Before we offered this to anyone else, we did it for our own company. You can see the result at www.TheDomConstruction.com.
The website
AI did the heavy lifting on the writing and the build, but the knowledge is ours. We fed it real material: job notes, trade terms, photos and the questions customers ask when we’re standing in their driveway. It turned that into pages a homeowner or a property manager can actually read. Then someone who has done the work read every page and fixed what was off.
The lead form asks the questions we’d ask on the phone. What town. What kind of work. A photo if you have one. The best time to call. So the first call back starts with an answer, not a list of questions.
Posts, ads and tracking
A Google Business Profile that sits untouched looks like a business that closed. AI drafts posts from recent job photos and the time of year: fall repairs before the freeze, spring patching after it. Each draft waits for an OK before it goes up.
The ads are set up for the services and towns we actually want. Conversion tracking counts form requests and phone taps from the site, so we judge the ads by real requests instead of clicks. When a page or an ad brings in nothing, we can see it and change it.
What we learned
AI is fast at first drafts and slow at knowing your business. Generic instructions give you a generic website, the kind that could belong to any contractor in any state. The pages got good when we gave it the real stuff: our photos, our towns, the way the crew describes a job.
Tracking matters more than people think. Without it, you’re guessing which marketing works. With it, the conversation is simple: this ad brought in calls, that one didn’t.
Your site, on your accounts
This is the same setup we offer through websites with AI built in and Google Business Profile and review management. It works for a plumber, a dental office, a property manager or a shop on Lark Street. You own the site, the domain, the Google accounts and the ad account. We set them up, show you how it all works and stay on call.
And the site you’re reading right now? Built the same way.
